"Bauhaus Collection Vol.2" is here with the first edition entitled "Panton chair Edition" honouring the great designer Verner Panton, artist and architect of the Bauhaus in the 60s.
"The main goal of my work is to make people use their imagination. Almost everyone spends their life in a sad conformity of grey and beige tones, afraid to use colour" - Verner Panton.
The Panton chair was a revolutionary design in terms of its spatial layout and pop art style. It breaks the rules of the structured design, architectural and social model that was in place back then in post-war Germany, in Bauhaus Germany.
Verner brings colour and practicality into people's lives. I feel like he's a bit like the Pablo Picasso of industrial design. And I love it.
It took me a while to decide on which colours to draw. These were my favourites. Enjoy!
For drawing I use Faber Castell Polychromos pencils on 300 gr fine art paper.
This work is unique and original, with the artist's signature and a certificate of guarantee.
Size: 14 cm x 21 cm.
