Mar Garal

Her artistic process is deeply rooted in the impressionist style, where gesture and emotion predominate over detail. Through free and carefree brushstrokes, she seeks to capture the essence of the moment, letting textures and layers be part of the message. Her color palette is reduced and desaturated, allowing the focus to be on the atmosphere and emotional states she tries to convey in each portrait.

Although she began painting at a very young age, Mar's creative journey has led her to explore various disciplines, such as photography, film, illustration and graphic design. Each piece is an attempt to tell an intimate and personal story, reflecting the character of the subjects through light, color and composition.
