Collection: Ayelén Miguens

Ayelén Miguens was born in Argentina. Since she was young, she has been fascinated by art, and from a very young age it has been a fundamental part of her life. She began exploring simple drawing at school and, over time, specialized in disciplines that caught my attention, such as artistic pencil drawing and painting at the "Da Vinci" school. Later, she entered the University of Buenos Aires to study architecture, while exploring in Marcolina Dipierro's workshop and being part of the Púrpura virtual residency, installed in Buenos Aires.

Over the years, she has had the opportunity to learn to tattoo, driven by her curiosity, understanding that the skin can also be a canvas. She has participated in various exhibitions in different places, which has enriched her artistic practice.

Her travels have been a great source of inspiration for her work. She has explored the skin in all its aspects, both painting it and using it as a canvas. This has led her to create works that address the body as a unit.
